Brine Shrimp are tiny reddish-brown crustaceans that can live for several months reach up to 15 mm (0.6 in) in length. They have a remarkable resistance to change and are able to live in a wide variety of water salinity and temperature.
BENEFITS: Brine shrimp nauplii represent a nutritious live food source for a variety of marine larvae. Brine shrimp are an ideal food source for finicky eaters such as seahorses, pipefish, mandarinfish and other dragonets. In addition, brine shrimp helps maintaining water balance by feeding on algae, bacteria and other detritus. Our Baby Brine Shrimp are 1-2 weeks old and are about the size of a mature Tigger Copepod. This makes them the perfect-sized snack for fish larvae, juvenile fish and new additions to the tank.
INSTRUCTIONS: Add the bottle content to the main tank all at once or over 3-4 days. For short term storage, the bottle can be kept in the refrigerator.
